What Is This Thing?!?!?

I Need Help
I came across a picture of this creature quite awhile ago on the Internet. Ever since, I have used it as a profile picture on many of my accounts online. On most of those sites I have posted an open question as to the identity of the species of this weird little animal. None have answered to my satisfaction. All answers were just guesses...I want a definite answer and proof of identity.
This, my friends, is what brings me to write this hub. I am hoping someone out there that reads this knows for sure what this thing is. If you do not know then pass this hub along to someone that you think might. I would surely appreciate it.
Possibilities
Here is what I heard or thought it was:
- Bat: maybe, but I don't see wings.
- Monkey: maybe, but what kind of freakin' monkey is that?!?!
- Rat: no...rats don't have fingers.
Sumatran Rat-Monkey?
Another possibility is that it is the fabled Sumatran Rat-Monkey, the dastardly beast from the movie Dead Alive (aka Braindead)! This cursed beast, according to legend, is a hybrid resulting from the vicious rape of tree monkeys by brutal plague rats.
Anyone who comes across a Sumatran Rat-Monkey would do best to steer clear. It's bite is so deadly that immediate amputation of the effected limb is the only thing that can save the victim from a gruesome death....and un-death!
Strong resemblence but I don't think that is it either.
So...is there anyone out there that can help me find a solid answer to this mystery?
Update
The mystery has been solved by one of the commenters. The weird little thing is an Aye-Aye. I guess the search for the Sumatran Rat-Monkey will continue.

It's CGI? Or a puppet a least.
it's the other white meat!
It's one of Michael Vick's dogs.
Yoda, as an infant.
looks rodent-like to me.
Most likely a bat from the looks of it's feet. Perhaps the wings are tucked behind in the person's palm.
My silly guess...Gremlins.....no water after midnight!
Definately looks nocturnal......either that or they're squeezing him too tightly....LMAO
Baby Lemur
Damn! That is a weird thing. Now you've got me hooked. I shall not rest until I find the answer!
Slight guess, kinda looks like some of the images found on yahoo images.
Ears are too big for a baby Lemur. (Unless we're talking about some deformed critter, we may never find the answer.)
I think it's a half-breed. Part Lemur/Part Bat........call it a Bemur......LOL
Looking at the baby lemurs I found online it's close, but still seems different....like Christoph Reilly said....something looks different in the ears.
It's an Aye-Aye, a primate once thought to be a rodent. What do I win!
Aye-Aye....I do believe CR is correct! Wow! Take a bow! I got the nocturnal part right.
Check the timing, Imadork. 4 minutes. Some kind of a record. Anyway, you're welcome, but you got me curious too. I hadda know!
It looks like a bat to me. But you could be right it could even be Sumatran Rat Monkey and it surely isn't pretty ;)
So dumb of me. I didn't go through the comments where the answer was already mentioned. CR sure is a genius to figure it out in record time.
Poor little one looks scared to death! It looks like it's still a baby.
I think it is a baby lemur.
It's Nosferatu the Vampire trying to fool his captor into believing he's an Aye Aye! :D
Spider Monkey!
Id guess an anorexic furby. lol. Thats one wicked looking creature. I hope to see this one on nick bakers weird creatures... he does good shows on the science channel - or travel channel. This is def one weird creature!
I am quite sure it is a Hufenaby Idealactus. these are very illusive monkey like bats from deepest New Guinea. They are commonly referred to as Huffies. They are very rare and untill quite recently, it was thought they may be extinct. They have several unusual charactaristics for bats and their wings are only small and poorly developed. They fly more like a sugar glider. This picture is of a very young one, the older ones have a full head of hair, a bit like Elvis. They are easily tamed if caught early in life, and unlike normal bats, are not nocturnal. They are related to Flying Foxes from Australia. They suckle from their mothers for about 12 months, then mainly eat nectar and fruit.
Nah...just kidding.
Until I read the comments, I was going to say it was a photo of your sex organ, guess I was a little off but thankfully I don't have to flag you.
Well I thought maybe the vampires got to you and did something, I don't know. I would like to be both, I gotta wait another two hours to get off work.
LOL I was about to flag this hub when i read about the pics being that of something not allowed in here, but good thing I realized it was toady who made the comment so i just went away in disgust! HUI again! :D
they should understand sometimes you need to be high or drunk for some jobs
man, just stroke your little pet and relax.
Speed is okay to start with, but then you need to keep it going and that takes many trips to the restroom.
LSD would be mission impossible better just to stay in the car the whole shift and drive home when it starts to wear off.
I thought it was an Aye-Aye...
Whoa! you da man!
I just wish your aye-aye would quit looking at me.
toady
or try not looking at it! It works both ways you know LOL
abuser. I hope you ice it down after you bruise it.
should a one-eyed aye-aye be called an aye?
Ha! you got a solid point there Cris.
thanks but please stop spanking the one-eyed aye, for if it loses the other eye, what shall it be called then? nobody wants to be nameless, not even an aye-aye with one eye!
Mebbe you can call it a Nay :D I can see you guys are having a blast as usuall!!
LOL nay is good! better than a symbol i suppose - symbols are no good, ask Prince! :D
the-one-who-was-called-aye mebbe?
That looks good! At least it's a name you can say. Anyhow, how do you call somebody who has a symbol for a name? :D
Sign language!
Here is what happened. A female chihuahua was miding her own business blowing some steam off out on the town when a diabolical rat and his bat buddy decided to drop a roofie in her drink. They took her home and gang banged her and left her in an ally where a down on his luck spider monky was feeling down. He stumbled across this chihuahua and felt a little frisky. Soon he was kneee deep in chihuahua poon and droped his load in her.
The toxic batch of rat, bat and monkey semen formed a super mutant sperm and fertilized the strong pedegree egg of the chihuahua.
9 months later (or however long it takes to give birth for a dog) this bastard-shit ulgy create was born.
Sadly, I think its cute. But I'm not the most normal person to grace this green earth.

It's a baby Aye Aye. It's a type of Lemur found in Madagascar. The natives kill them on sight because they are believed to be demons.

im researcher for national geographic and i believe you are all the stupidest people ive ever heard in my life.
screw you Andrewwiener you a retarded skeptic with no life all you do is go on different web sites and insult people.
I looked it up on Google images. It is a baby bat. When bats are just born many species have little hair and their wings are underdeveloped. In the picture the wings are obscured by the person's hand and all you see is the bat's fingers so it looks like it could be anything.
Check out these images: The first one is your picture the other's are similar pictures of other baby bats. :)
